1. Types of Messages

If you consent to receive conversational and informational SMS from AIM FinTax, you agree to receive text messages from us about:

• Appointment confirmations and reminders
• Document requests and missing-information reminders
• Tax filing and payment deadline reminders
• Status updates on your tax return, bookkeeping, or payroll work
• Account and service notifications
• Replies to questions you send us

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

2. How to Opt In

You can opt in to receive text messages by:

• Checking the SMS consent box on a form on our website;
• Giving us written or verbal consent in person, by phone, by email, or on an engagement letter or intake form; or
• Sending a text message to our business phone number.

We keep a record of your consent. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from AIM FinTax.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your needs and the services we are providing. For example, you may receive more messages during tax season or while your return is being prepared.

5. How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will not receive further text messages from us unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by contacting us at 833-412-3377 or tax@aimfintax.com. We will honor any other reasonable request to stop receiving text messages.

7. Carriers

Text messaging is available on major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator and is not guaranteed.

Mobile numbers and text messaging opt-in consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. For information about how we handle personal information, please see our Privacy Policy above.

9. Sensitive Information

For your security, please do not send Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, passwords, or full tax documents by text message. Use our secure client portal, or contact us for a secure method.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
