AIM FinTax ("AIM FinTax," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, our services, and our communications with you (including SMS/text messaging), how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

• Contact information: name, mailing address, email address, and phone number (including your mobile number).

• Business information: business name, entity type, employer identification number, and related details.

• Tax and financial information: tax returns and supporting documents, income and expense records, bank and payroll information, and other documents you provide so we can perform tax, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll services.

• SMS/text messaging information: your mobile number, your opt-in consent (including the date, time, and method of consent), and the content of text messages you exchange with us.

• Website information: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and similar data collected through cookies or similar technologies when you visit our website.

How We Use Information

We use your information to:

• Provide tax preparation, accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and related financial services.

• Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about your account, appointments, documents, deadlines, and the status of our work.

• Send SMS/text messages to you if you have opted in (see "SMS/Text Messaging" below).

• Operate and improve our website and services, maintain security, and prevent fraud.

• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and professional obligations.

SMS/Text Messaging

If you provide your mobile number and opt in to receive text messages, we may send you conversational and informational messages such as appointment confirmations and reminders, document requests and reminders, tax filing and payment deadline reminders, account and service notifications, and replies to questions you send us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you may get help by replying HELP. Full details are in our SMS Terms & Conditions below.

No mobile opt-in or text messaging consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers and text messaging consent data are used only to send you the messages described above. Service providers that help us deliver messages (such as our business phone and messaging platform) may process this information solely to send and receive messages on our behalf.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share personal information only in the following situations:

• Service providers: with companies that help us operate our business and deliver our services, such as tax preparation and accounting software, secure document portals, e-signature tools, payment processors, and business phone and messaging platforms. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us and are required to protect it.

• Legal requirements: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AIM FinTax, our clients, or others.

• With your consent or at your direction: for example, when you ask us to send information to your bank, lender, attorney, or another professional.

We do not share your personal information, mobile number, or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or lead-generation purposes.

Tax Return Information

As a tax return preparer, we use and disclose your tax return information only as permitted by Internal Revenue Code Section 7216 and its regulations. We will obtain your written consent before using or disclosing your tax return information for any purpose other than preparing your return, unless the law otherwise permits or requires the use or disclosure.

Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal and financial information, as required of tax preparers under the FTC Safeguards Rule (16 CFR Part 314). We use a secure, encrypted client portal to exchange and store your documents and tax information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. For your protection, please do not send Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or full tax documents by email or text message; use our secure client portal instead.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, and professional record-keeping requirements (including IRS record-retention requirements for tax return preparers). When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or destroy it.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to ask what personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity, and some information must be retained by law. You may also:

• Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time.

• Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in the email or contact us.

• Cookies: adjust your browser settings to refuse or delete cookies.

Third-Party Websites

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (for example, the IRS, state tax agencies, or software providers). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
